The Baker

Rebby Lee - The Baker

“Imagine tasting a confection so delightful that it is like velvet on your tongue and the burst of flavor zings your tastebuds into instant delight.”
— Norma Dittman, Fulda Free Press Reporter

For years Rebby has been perfecting food dishes, sweet treats, cakes & candies, including her signature liqueur cakes, known as “Dundee Love Cakes” made with lots of love and delicious, healthy ingredients, and are covered in chocolate ganache – pure cream and chocolate.

Rebby’s passion for baking and sharing these little gems comes from her mom, Daisy, who made 40 lbs. of homemade candy including fudge, caramels, divinity, penoche every Christmas to give to friends, family, the mailman, the milkman, the garbage man, teachers. Families actually waited for her box of candy to arrive. Rebby’s Aunt Gladis was one of the 21 General Mills home economists who shaped Betty Crocker’s personality, according to a 1948 article republished for Betty’s 100th birthday. In the 50s, Aunt Gladis traveled all over Europe teaching American cooking to service wives for General Mills. These two women made a huge impact on Rebby’s love of food, cooking, baking and sharing the bounty. Every plate of food was a tasty piece of visual artwork.
